Injective is a high-performance Proof-of-Stake (PoS) Layer 1 blockchain designed for onchain financial applications, including trading, asset tokenization, and payments. INJ holders can contribute to network security by delegating their tokens to validators and earn INJ staking rewards based on their delegated stake, after deducting the validator’s commission. Rewards begin accruing once the tokens are staked and can be claimed at any time, while the estimated yield varies depending on the network’s staking participation rate. Unstaking requires a 21-day unbonding period, during which no rewards are earned, while redelegating to another validator does not require an unbonding period.
How to Stake
- Set up an Injective-compatible wallet, such as MetaMask or Keplr, and hold INJ with a small amount reserved for gas fees.
- Visit the official staking app at (injhub.com/stake) and connect your wallet to Injective Mainnet.
- Review each validator’s commission, voting power, and uptime, then select FP Validated.
- Enter the amount of INJ you wish to stake and approve the transaction. Rewards will begin accruing once the delegation is complete.
